WIP Wednesday

My creation, originally uploaded by lyndsey-jane.

I have quite alot on the needles right now, but the major works in progress are:

  • Lacy Scallop Socks from Sockbug using Opal Rodeo, gifted from my Sock It To Me Sock Swap pal
  • Sweet Pea Socks in Koigu for my Sock It To Me Sock Swap pal
  • Sock Yarn Stash Blanket using all the odds and ends from my socks

I managed to get things sorted at uni (I hope) and am going back in tomorrow to arrange to go part-time. Although this will mean I will be studying an extra year it will also mean that I may have a chance of getting better rather than just staying the same.

About Lyndsey-Jane

I love to knit, spin and crochet, usually accompanied by music, a good book or good TV. I have had ME/CFS for 6 years and have been recently diagnosed with a type of inflammatory arthritis.

  1. I’m so glad you’ve managed to sort things out at Uni. I know its a cliche, but your health is more important. Oooh, and I’m loving the Koigu colours 🙂

  2. Wow! I LOVE those wips. And relieved to hear things are being sorted out at uni. I switched from full-time to part-time when doing my MA and it suited me far better. Will it affect any funding?

  3. Nice to see the sock yarn is being put to good use – love the pattern. Love, love LOVE the sock yarn blanket. I started crocheting granny squares with my left over sock yarn some time ago with the idea of putting together a blanket from them….sort of a memory blanket!
